Event Description

The 3-day Consensus Development Conference on Improving Mental Health Transitions will be held from November 4-6, 2014, at the Westin Hotel in Edmonton, Alberta.

The conference will be of interest to anyone with an interest in severe and persistent mental illness (SPMI), including social workers, nurses, clinicians, policy-makers, managers, researchers, and students.

The topics will include:
Severe and persistent mental illness
Social and economic consequences
Effectiveness of current interventions
International examples of effective support systems
Role of primary care
Information systems and tools for quality improvement
