Event Description

Many children, youth, and adults with autism spectrum disorders (ASD) are reported to wander or “bolt”, leave the safety of a responsible caregiver or support person, run away from school, home, or community setting. Wandering and bolting causes significant risk for individuals with ASD who may not be aware of the possible dangers and potential harms because they often lack safety awareness.
