Victim Services - Lanark County (VS-LC)
Victim Services - Lanark County is a community and volunteer based crisis response program that provides a variety of free immediate, short-term crisis intervention services to persons affected by crime, tragic circumstance and disaster.

VS - Lanark County operates 24 hours
a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
-staff and trained volunteers provide emotional support,
practical assistance and an information and referral program, on-site or by telephone.

VS-LC delivers the Victim Quick Response Program which provides nominal contributions towards expenses incurred as a result of serious violent crime.

-role is to assist victims in identifying immediate
needs, available options for support, and providing referrals to community
agencies for longer term assistance and support.
-works in partnership with local police services (Smiths
Falls Police Service, Perth Police Service, Lanark County Ontario Provincial Police) and all of the County Fire Services
