Open Doors for Lanark Children and Youth, Carleton Place
Serving children, youth (up to aged 18) and their families who are having difficulties in their lives. Our qualified counsellors can work with you in a variety of ways; individually, as a family, or in groups. All of our Counsellors are trained in a variety of evidence informed practises such as CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy), and Solution Focused Therapy. Some have more specialised skills such as EMDR, Family Therapy and Intergenerational Trauma Treatment.

Services available: Individual counselling (counselling available without your guardians' knowledge); Group therapy; Sexual abuse treatment; Family services; Referrals and assessment; Quick response worker available for crisis situations; Public education.
 
Services are publicly funded and therefore free for families.
 
Offices in Smiths Falls, Carleton Place, Perth and the North Lanark County Community Health Centre.
