Human Services Justice System Program |
The Human Services Justice System Program is designed to help people with mental disorders who come into conflict with the law. The project includes Mental Health Court Support Services, including Court Diversion for individuals charged with minor criminal offences. The HSJS Project functions to provide overall system leadership in the development of effective human services and justice system interface strategies. In 2007 will offer a new discharge/release planning service for inmates with mental disorders at Central North Correctional Centre.
