The goal of Camp Erin ® is to hep normalize the grief process for the children. It provides a safe place where they can grieve with other children who have experienced a loss.
Mixing tradititional camp fun, such as swimming, hiking, games and arts and crafts, with grief activities to foster self-discovery and healing. The weekend will provide opportunity for the campers to take part in small groupd discussions with their peers and cabin buddies.
Cost to attend: As a result of the fundraising efforts of Carefor and our volunteers, Camp Erin is FREE OF CHARGE. Applications are accepted on a first come., first served basis as space is limited.
Please see the website to access the application form and information packages. Once you have completed the application package, please submit it by email to [email protected], fax (613-932-0998) or drop it off in person at the Carefor office (205 Amelia Street, Cornwall).

Event Description
Camp Erin® Eastern Ontario is a weekend, overnight camp for children aged 6 - 17 to hlep them express grief, build trust and self-esteem. They learn to cope with loss in a safe environment, facilitated by grief professionals and trained volunteers.The goal of Camp Erin ® is to hep normalize the grief process for the children.
