Event Description

Camp Erin® Eastern Ontario is a weekend, overnight camp for children aged 6 - 17 to hlep them express grief, build trust and self-esteem. They learn to cope with loss in a safe environment, facilitated by grief professionals and trained volunteers.

The goal of Camp Erin ® is to hep normalize the grief process for the children. It provides a safe place where they can grieve with other children who have experienced a loss.

Mixing tradititional camp fun, such as swimming, hiking, games and arts and crafts, with grief activities to foster self-discovery and healing. The weekend will provide opportunity for the campers to take part in small groupd discussions with their peers and cabin buddies.

Cost to attend: As a result of the fundraising efforts of Carefor and our volunteers, Camp Erin is FREE OF CHARGE. Applications are accepted on a first come., first served basis as space is limited.
