We’ve all heard of Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and its many uses, especially for treating children with anxiety. CBT is the most empirically supported treatment for treating childhood anxiety. While we know how effective CBT can be, the challenge lies in getting children who are suffering from anxiety to engage in treatment.In this one-day workshop, a brief overview of CBT will be presented, along with innovative techniques to engage, assess, and treat children with anxiety.
