YMCA of Northern Alberta
YMCA of Northern Alberta is a charity that ignites the potential in people in central and northern Alberta. Offering free mental health supports for youth and young people through our Y Mind program, which is a psychoeducational program that uses education and experiential learning to teach healthy coping skills for stress and anxiety. Mindfulness activities and foundational concepts from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy are incorporated throughout the program.

The YMCA also provides health, fitness and aquatics memberships, licensed child care, youth life skills programs, family supports, newcomer settlement programs and other important community supports. The YMCA has been helping our community shine since 1907. Find us in Edmonton, Red Deer, Wood Buffalo and Grande Prairie!
