Perinatal Wellness programming delivered by Peers.
We have 2 wellness programs: 1 on Tuesdays from 11-12pm and 1 on Wednesdays from 2-3pm. This group includes a check in and discussion based on topics raised during the check in.
We offer a 9 week 1 hour program called Journaling as a Wellness Tool.
We are also offering an 6 week online peer support group for women experiencing depression and anxiety during pregnancy and post partum.
All our groups are delivered over Zoom Healthcare.
To register for a group email Nancy McLaren Kennedy with your full name, address and phone number. a diagnosis or disclosure of diagnosis is not required to participate in our groups. These are not therapy groups. They are groups where women and birthing people come together to support and learn from others who have similar experiences.
These group are offered in collaboration with the Ottawa Birth and Wellness Centre.

Previously aired Facebook Lives on perinatal mental health topics are available to be viewed on the Ottawa Birth and Wellness Centre's Facebook page. Topics include:
-pregnancy, birth and postpartum during COVID
-overview of perinatal mood and anxiety disorders
