Coverdale Counselling offers support to individuals & groups as well as professionals in caring fields as they work through the occupational hazards of compassion fatigue, vicarious trauma, and burnout. Coverdale Counselling is a teaching practice hosting 1-2 graduate student interns completing their clinical residencies with Kerri each semester.
Coverdale Counselling offers in-person and online counselling for individuals and groups as well as customized professional development programs and psychoeducational workshops.
In addition to managing online sessions, CCC added “Nature Therapy” to the offerings already provided and afforded individuals the option of attending therapy sessions at the farm in Dawson Settlement where they could opt for “Walk & Talk” sessions through the 280 acres of woodland trails (where some clients ask for instruction in foraging and plant/tree identification), more traditional “talk therapy” but in the outdoor office of either the apple orchard or around the fire pit, or Equine Assisted Therapy in the paddock with their equine partners.
