Housing Services
Program/Service of : Montfort Renaissance
Facilitates community reintegration for people living with mental illness or concurrent disorders by offering housing supports in order to prevent homelessness. Responds to the needs of those who are homeless and those at-risk of becoming homeless, through its partnerships with other organizations in the field of housing support and through its various housing initiatives in the City of Ottawa and in the United Counties of Prescott and Russell. Participates actively in the implementation of a range of services through its community development and research initiatives.

Program/Service of : Montfort Renaissance
This program aims to support Francophones struggling with a mental health disorder in their recovery process and to encourage them to participate in community activity. The program has four service components: peer support, artistic expression, recreational activities and recovery.

Services for francophones who are living with mental health problems.

Court Outreach: a program that helps francophones who are experiencing mental health disorders to go through the legal process (support and triage prior to the trial and assistance with establishing protocols and procedures with the courts and other partners).

Housing program with support: program is designed to accommodate chronically homeless adults with complex needs and provide a range of customized support services to help them obtain housing and retain it.

Intensive long-term community support (case management): community accompaniment service for francophone adults, men and women (16 years of age and older), struggling with a severe mental health problem.

Montfort Renaissance Residence
Program/Service of : Montfort Renaissance
The mission of the Résidence Montfort Renaissance is to provide independent living support services for high-risk senior citizens. To help them stay as long as possible in the community, the Résidence Montfort Renaissance provides attendant services around the clock. Our experienced staff, our rooms with full bathroom, our balanced meals, our little garden area as well as our presence within the heart of the Byward Market, make the Résidence Montfort Renaissance a great place to live. The Community Care Access Centre (CCAC) is responsible for the assessments for the program. Contact them for an evaluation of your needs at 613-745-5525.

Ottawa Addictions Access and Referral Services (OAARS)
Program/Service of : Montfort Renaissance
The Ottawa Addictions Access and Referral Services (OAARS) is the gateway to health services needed by persons aged 16 and over who are concerned about their alcohol or drug use and need help. This service is offered in French and English.

OAARS acts as a navigator in the health care system to help its clients obtain the appropriate services. It conducts summary assessments and directs clients to services in the Ottawa area based on the needs of each person. OAARS also provides information and support services.

Ottawa Withdrawal Management Centre (OWMC)
Program/Service of : Montfort Renaissance
The Ottawa Withdrawal Management Centre (OWMC) is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Residential Withdrawal Management Program: 26-bed, co-ed residential service for persons (16 years or over) who are intoxicated, in withdrawal and/or in crisis related to their substance use.

Community Withdrawal Management Program: safe withdrawal from alcohol and/or other drugs, in-home or in another location, with support in the community.

Day Program: additional support for recovery and help to prepare for further addiction treatment. Sessions take place from 10 am to 3 pm, Monday to Friday, for a period of 3 weeks.
