Narcotics Anonymous (NA) is a "non-profit fellowship or society of men and women for whom drugs had become a major problem." It is a support group for people who are addicted to drugs, clean addicts and active drug users, to help them learn how to live without using mind- and mood-altering chemicals. It uses a 12 step program modeled on Alcoholics Anonymous.
