VON is a not-for-profit, national health care organization and registered charity offering a wide range of community health care solutions, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.Provides nursing care and home support to clients of all ages, in their homes. Highly skilled nurses and home support workers (homemakers) are available 24 hours a day on a visit or shift basis. Respite available for caregivers. VON also offers clinics for foot care, wellness, CPR training, immunization and continence. Workplace Wellness clinic are available to employers. Three Alzheimer Day Away centres offer day care for those in the early stages of Alzheimer disease. Complementary therapies (Reflexology, Therapeutic Touch, Aromatherapy) available by appointment.
