Anna is a Registered Psychotherapist who graduated from Yorkville University with a Masters of Counselling Psychology. Before that, she completed a Bachelors of Arts in Sociology. She quickly developed a love and passion for helping others, beginning to work as a Behavioral Therapist with children with autism.

Since beginning clinical practice as Psychotherapist in 2020, Anna has worked with a wide range of clients and developed a deep understanding in supporting individuals who struggle with various issues such as anxiety, depression, addiction, relationship issues, lack of confidence and more.

She draws from a range of effective therapy models including: Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectal Behavior Therapy and Mindfulness.

Anna has worked with post-secondary students, adults and seniors and has experience helping individuals navigate through their issues across the lifespan. In her sessions, Anna focuses on emphasizing the importance of understanding the root cause of the challenges individuals are facing. She helps her clients develop skills and grow their inner confidence to cope effectively with life’s challenges.

As a therapist, Anna’s goal is to ensure that her clients feel heard and understood, emphasizing the importance of creating a positive therapeutic relationship. Through her own life challenges, Anna understands the importance in helping clients understand their own strength and resiliency to get through various experiences and aims to help them through their struggles. Anna has a love and passion in helping others find their strength and resiliency when clients feel “stuck”.

Anna is constantly seeking opportunities to learn and grow as a practitioner. She has the ability to create a non-judgmental, calm and compassionate space for her clients. Her approach to therapy is collaborative, client-centred, and strength based. When she is not in sessions, Anna enjoys hot yoga, pilates, Muay Thai and watching movies with her puppy, Koba.
