The Young/Single Parent Support Network of Ottawa
The Community Action Program for Children (CAPC) and the Canada Prenatal Nutrition Program (CPNP) support a range of community action programs and services for pregnant women and children living in conditions of risk. Both are initiatives of the Public Health Agency of Canada. Funded projects, such as Brighter Futures and Buns in the Oven, reflect the priorities of both federal and provincial governments. They all have one thing in common - they attempt to eliminate or minimize the conditions of risk for pregnant women and young children and their families.
