Event Description

In this lecture Dr. James Greenblatt, MD, Child Psychologist and eating disorder expert will discuss:

• The role that biochemical disorders play in skewing the body’s natural hunger and satiety cues
• How food cravings are not “your fault” or a result of a weak will or bad character
• How the body and mind can be brought back into equilibrium, breaking the cycle of restricting, bingeing and blaming

This lecture is for those struggling with an eating disorder, parents/caregivers, health professionals and therapists; anyone who is interested in learning more about current medical and nutritional research, and the new model of hope offered by an integrative approach to recovery.
