Early Childhood Mental Health Program
The Early Childhood Mental Health Program works with Richmond families to assess and treat behaviour and emotional problems in children 0-5 years of age.

We are a team of psychiatrists and allied health professionals that deal with:

-Issues relating to uncontrollable temper tantrums; defiance; hostility; sibling rivalry; extreme shyness; difficulty separating from parent

-Behavioral patterns that affect sleeping; feeding; toilet training

-Concerns about anxiety; depression; phobias; trauma

-Issues relating to attachment and bonding

-Parent-child relationship difficulties

Assessment and treatment is provided in the context of the child's family and in collaboration with other community service providers as needed.

We are a designate teaching site for UBC Faculty of Medicine.
