Onoferychuk, Stephanie - Registered Psychotherapist, B.A. (Hons), MC
Prismatic Compassion
Private practice (individual)
Hello! My name is Stephanie and I’m a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) working with Prismatic Compassion. I have a therapeutic focus in supporting teens (13+) and young adults navigating ADHD, gender transitions, childhood/attachment trauma, relationship issues, low/no contact relationships, and anxiety. I use humour and a gentle approach in my work to help get to the deep-roots of your concerns. If you're looking for a down-to-earth, relaxed, nerdy, neurodivergent allied, and LGBTQ2S+ allied therapist, I might be a good fit! Here, you can be yourself and know that you are seen and heard.

I believe that no two people are alike and that therapy should be tailored to the goals and experiences of each client. I draw on many modalities to fit the unique needs of all clients. In particular, I utilize Narrative Therapy, Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), IFS-informed practice, somatic-based practice, Mindfulness, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Through these approaches, we can create new meanings, beginnings, and life paths to help you feel in-control and fulfilled.

Above all, I hold a profound belief that all individuals are worthy of safety and acceptance. I am committed to creating a welcoming and secure environment for every client. I achieve this through a therapeutic approach that is person-centered, strengths-based, pro-LGBTQ2S+, pro-diversity, neuro-affirming, trauma-informed, and accessible.

Reaching out for therapy can be a difficult thing to do & I acknowledge that finding a therapist who fits your needs can add to the burden. If you feel that I might be a good fit for you, feel free to reach out for a free 15 minute consultation. Above all, I'm hopeful that you'll find the support you deserve in your journey of self-exploration and healing.
