Mental Health First Aid aims to improve mental health literacy and provide the skills and knowledge to help people better manage potential or developing mental health problems in themselves, a family member, a friend or a colleague.
It teaches you to recognize the signs and symptoms of mental health issues, provide initial help and guide a person towards appropriate professional help.
CHSI has teamed up with the Mental Health Commission to provide a FREE Introduction to Mental Health First Aid.

1 in 3 people will experience a mental health problem in their lifetime. In a mental health crisis, the helper's actions may determine how quickly the person gets help and/or recovers.
